SteelInfo is a free reference site. You don't need an account and we don't ask for personal information.

What is collected

• Hosting logs. The site is hosted by Cloudflare, which processes standard request information (IP address, browser type, the page requested) to deliver the site and protect it from abuse. Cloudflare may process this information outside Australia. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.
• Analytics. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count page views. It does not use cookies or local storage, does not create profiles and does not track you across other websites.
• Your browser only. Your theme choice, compare list and weight-calculator list are saved in your own browser's local storage. They are never sent to us, and you can clear them at any time.
• Email. If you email us, we use your address and message only to reply and to fix any reported error. We don't add you to mailing lists.

Cookies

This site sets no cookies of its own for tracking or advertising. Cloudflare, which hosts the site, may set a strictly necessary security cookie (such as __cf_bm) to protect it from automated abuse; it isn't used to identify or track you.

Advertising

The site currently shows no third-party advertising. Any sponsor listings are plain links that do not track you. This policy will be updated before any advertising service is added.

What we don't do

We don't sell or share personal information, and we don't build profiles of visitors.
